Volvo Key Fob Troubleshooting
Volvo drivers love their key fob's convenient remote features. They can lock and unlock their car, start the motor, and even find it using the smartphone app.
Then, place the fob onto an uncluttered work surface with the logo facing upwards. Locate the button that releases it, insert a coin between the fob and the cover, and pull up carefully.
Unlocking the Doors

Remove the back cover of the key fob with your fingernail. A button should be located under the cover at an angle, close to the edge of the body. You can remove it by sliding it downwards, then to the right. The cover will then come free and slide away and reveal the manual key blade within! If you're unable to locate the button, search the now-revealed manual key access for an undiscovered lever or slot.
Closing the Windows
Volvo key fobs feature an in-built feature that lets users to instantly lower all the windows. This is a great feature when trying to squeeze into a tight parking space, or just when you need some fresh air in your cabin while driving.
To do this, press and hold the unlock button on your
