Seats
The majority of triple buggies begin as single pushchairs. Some models can be modified to accept the second seat using adapters. You'll also find that some models let you add a ride-on board for older children who wish to walk but require some assistance.
Check out the Joie Evalite Duo for an ultra-lightweight option that is perfect for city streets. It's easy to maneuver, and it has an enormous basket that has plenty of storage. Suspension
The suspension of a double
3 wheeler strollers-wheel buggy will determine the ease with which you and your child/children are able to push it. A smooth ride is essential because babies feel every bump on the road, especially if it's in rough terrain such as grass or paths that aren't paved. Some models have locking front tires that help maneuver and get over obstacles like curbs.
Some models have tyres with air filled which are ideal for all-terrain rides, but they are prone to punctures. Make sure you keep an extra set of tyres in the trunk. Some models have foam or gel-filled tyres that are designed to absorb bumps. They can be less likely to puncture, however they may be uncomfortable for your child should you choose to jog.
Our award winning side-by-side duet buggy features a fantastic suspension that will get you over any terrain easily and comfortably which makes it the ideal buggy for city walks. MFM reviewer Kath put the Urban Glide 2 through its paces with her infant and three years old children, and discovered that it coped really well on difficult terrain: "it navigated effortlessly over bumpy pavements and grass dirt tracks, cobbles and cobbles easily and was able to manoeuvre around corners and go up and down kerbs. It's even very pleasant to jog, with the 16" rear wheels and lockable swivel front wheels giving you a stable running experience." The Urban Glide 2 has a lot of features, such as a large seat unit with padded cover as well as a hood that has 50+ UV protection, and easy-to-use and rechargeable lights.
Folding
A 3-wheel double buggy can fold up pretty easily to be stored. There are models that fold flat and then stand up (as as if they were in a pushchair) and also those that pop up to reveal a more umbrella-style fold with an electric brake. The more wheels the buggy has, in general the easier it will be to maneuver on rough terrain. This is particularly applicable when the wheels are larger than the average. This will give you more stability and reduce the chance that your children will fall over or tip over.
The iCandy Wave is a popular option. It can be used in conjunction with an infant car seat from birth and then transformed to a double buggy when your child is old. It is a lightweight option that is easy to push. It also comes with a bumper bar as well as a raincover.
