We've seen some combinations that can only be connected or detached using straps, which can seem like an extra step and make it more difficult for parents to secure the car seat properly.

The only drawback is that they're heavy and it can be tricky to lift them up when you're carrying children in the car seat.
Easy to Assemble
Some car seat and stroller combos can be tricky to put together. We discovered that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the easiest to put together. It comes with a handy quick-start guide that makes putting this system together easy. Other models we tried such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule Urban Glide 2, and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal, were also fairly easy to assemble. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo, on the other hand isn't easy to put together. It requires two steps connecting the lower anchors and using straps that protect the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy, which means it requires two people to secure the carrier in the base, and then remove it.
In our tests, it took us about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 together, which is quite quick when you consider the amount of time is saved by not having to take out the pieces. The toddler seat can be put together and removed easily on the majority of these models.
