Certain models are difficult to remove or attach from the base. The Doona Combo, for example requires a two-step attach procedure and straps that are placed over the infant's bottom portion. It's tempting to skip the steps but it could result in dangerous results.
Some models are also more difficult to fold and store than others, making them less practical. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for example, is difficult to fold due to its huge dimensions and heavy frame. This model also has a tiny canopy, which some testers are disappointed with. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is simple to fold down with the push of a button and a pull of the lever. This model is a great option for parents who wish to use their car seat in the other cars, since it can be easily removed from the base.
Easy to Fold
If you're storing your car seat on its own, in the trunk of your car or even in a closet, it should be easy to fold and unfold. The best combos we've tested come with an easy fold that's one-handed and durable enough to be used for long walks. They're also easy to maneuver and glide smoothly over uneven surfaces. Some combos are linked and disengaged by straps. This can be a bit like a second step and could make it harder for parents to secure their child's car seat properly.
The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is an excellent option due to its sturdy construction and practical features, such as a large storage bin that can be accessed from the back or front. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored well in our tests of ease-of-use. Both have one wheel that's easy to push with just one hand. Both have one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed!). They also come with a versatile swing wheel, which is ideal for running errands

Easy to Assemble
Some car seat and stroller combos can be tricky to assemble. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the simplest travel systems to assemble. It even comes with a handy guide. Other models we tried, such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule Urban Glide
2 in 1 travel system pram, and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal, were also fairly simple to put together. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo, on the other hand is a bit difficult to put together. It requires two steps connecting the lower anchors as well as using straps to protect the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy so it takes

In our tests, it took us about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby v2 together. This is a bit fast when you consider the amount of time it saves by not having to remove each piece. The toddler seat can be put together and removed with ease on most of these models.
