The Q Revo is a great choice if you are looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's mid-range. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.
In the course of testing, it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to help you map your home.
1. IRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the base of charging. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and recommend automatic schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is setup, you can start cleaning automatically with just one button press. You can select a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.
This
best robot vacuum vacuum is effective both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do and can remove pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better with the next models.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. We think it's a nice claim however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.
Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that require more attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibration pad.
The only issue is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.
For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered ones, create minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without getting distracted. If it comes across the wall or a piece of furniture it gently bumps into it before moving forward.
The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only alert you if something is wrong for example, low water levels or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to an empty bin.
You can also combine or create actual rooms to personalize the way Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different flooring materials or there's a lot of items that need to be cleaned out regularly, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking dirt from carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.
The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (

best value robot vacuum and mop and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.
This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and an assistant voice that works offline, so you can control it even when you're away from home. It also has more mopping options and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a specific route.
The Omni Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its rotating mop pads that scrub away tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also very effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end

It can build detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is one of the few that can automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are useful but they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury and could mean it's a little more expensive than some homeowners need.
Created to look like a contemporary floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will bring up the app's settings menu where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.
Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your house. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for households with children or pets.
The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of debris from our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
