Toto was formed in the year 1976 by guitarists Jeff Porcaro, David Paich (who at the time were also well-known studio musicians working with Boz Scaggs) and bassist/singer Bobby Kimball. Toto's third release, Turn Back, was a failure in 1981. However they made amends with their fourth release,
