As time passes the handles on your doors will wear out and will require replacement. In this case, it is essential that the new handles match the exact dimensions of the previous handle.

Composite door handles are constructed of durable materials and are perfect for multi point lock doors that require a heavy duty design. The handles are inline and they utilize the same screws and spindle to fix them. They can be easily mounted on any uPVC/Composite door.
The design of the sprung lever allows the handle to be placed and angled to ensure a comfortable experience and is suitable for all users. The

The sprung lever is adjustable to fit a broad range of locks. This is useful for narrower doors where the cylinder is further back in the door. Lever Pad
A Lever Pad door handle made of upvc functions differently than lever handles found on most doors. These handle types are either operated by one spindle or two spindles, either inline or offset. They are generally employed on UPVC double-glazed doors and are available in a variety of variations and finishes.
The handles have been tested to the minimum of 200,000 cycles and are available in various finishes like White, Silver, Chrome & Gold. The finish is in line with BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 5 and is also resistant to corrosion, thereby giving the handle a high level of durability and performance for the intended use.
All UPVC handle lever pads come with a spindle, screws, and can be fitted on a uPVC door. The 211mm backplate fixation centres permit a larger handle, which is often a benefit when replacing an old or faulty multi-point door lock mechanism. The levers for these handles have springs, which can solve the issue of door handles that move out of horizontal position when not in use.

When you have the right PZ size, you'll have to ensure that the handle lever pads and push pads are in a suitable shape to fit the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) approved handles you require for your doors. These are typically round or square with an internal lever, and an external push pad.
The majority of UPVC Lever Pads that we sell are spring-loaded. This means that they return to a horizontal position after not in use instead of hanging, and possibly securing to the frame. This keeps draughts out of the property. The majority of UPVC lever pad handles come in both left and right handed models which allows them to be put on either side of doors.
Euro Cylinder
Cylinder locks are found on uPVC and other kinds of doors. They operate with a key to unlock a cylinder case that will reveal pins that can be aligned with those inside the lock body, allowing them to turn an revolving cam, opening the door. Euro Cylinders can be fitted with up to six pins, with both internal and external doors generally needing different levels of security.
The choice of cylinder is essential. It is based on the amount of use your doors and handles will receive. External doors, for example, should be fitted with cylinders with greater security, whereas internal doors can be secured using the standard cylinder. Additionally, certain cylinders are available with extra features that increase security further, such as anti-drill or anti-bump features.
A euro cylinder should be measured correctly to ensure it is the right size for your door. The cylinder should be measured from the central fixing screw hole to each end of the cylinder and the thumb turn if you have one. It is recommended to do this with the lock in place however, if this is not feasible, you can take it off and take it off to measure. It is crucial to not have a cylinder that extends beyond the handle or escutcheon. This can make it vulnerable to lock snapping attacks.
The design of most newer cylinders has anti-drilling and bump resistance features. They are designed to decrease the chance of attack by forcing cylinders to rotate in a different direction. This helps deflect the attack and ensure your doors are secure.
There are also cylinders that are constructed to resist snapping. This is a more frequent method of attack on cylinders, where the break line inside the lock is attacked using a special tool to break the front of the cylinder to allow the door to be opened. This is a much faster and easier way to gain access than using a multipoint locking system. It also leaves less evidence of the break-in which can hinder insurance claims.
Spring Cassette
This spring cassette is found within the base plate of your door handle. It is a spring-loaded solution to bring your multipoint lock handles back to their normal position after using. The handles were previously equipped with no spring and would droop when the locking mechanism was disconnected. This simple part is the best solution to address this issue. It also helps prevent your upvc door from becoming stuck in the open or closed position as they aren't easy to close manually.
These spring cassettes are specifically made for use with multipoint locks that are sprung but they won't work with unsprung multipoint handles and you will require a hole specifically cut in your backplate to allow these to fit (please see image for technical diagram). They are a replacement for damaged or missing cassettes inside the door handle backplate of many brands of uPVC doors. They are available as one unit. They have a square-cut out that is able to accommodate an 8mm shaft.
