Line-up
The band's third album,
스포츠토토 Turn Back, marked an reversion to the classic sextet format of previous albums. It was a more ferocious, constant effort with a harder edge than Hydra. The edgier sound of Turn Back reflected the maturation in the group. The drummer Bobby Kimball's increasing proficiency was evident in the vocal delivery of Joseph Williams, who had become more confident and mature. Keyboardist David Paich's work also was more refined, sharper and less cloying than earlier efforts.
After touring to promote the album, the group recorded a live performance in Amsterdam which was released as a set of two CDs titled Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records. By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity.
