Inline Lever/Lever
A lever or lever door handle is a contemporary handle that can be used on new or replacement doors. This kind of door handle is available in a wide range of designs and finishes. A variety of manufacturers provide this handle, including Avocet ERA, Fullex, Hoppe, Mila, Millenco & Yale.

The uPVC/Composite door handles are constructed of durable materials and are suitable for multi point lock doors that require a heavy duty design. The handles are inline and they use the same screws and spindle to fix them. They can be easily installed on a new or existing uPVC/Composite doors.

The sprung lever is adjustable to fit a wide range of locks. This is particularly useful for narrower door frames where the cylinder is located further back. A lever that is shorter is an excellent option for doors where the latch can be opened by a thumb turn located on the inside.
Lever Pad
The lever pad upvc handle is distinct from the lever handles found on most doors. The handle can use a single spindle (inline) or independently from each side by using two offset or inline spindles (pad). They are typically employed on UPVC double glazed doors and are available in a variety of variations and finishes.
The handles are available in a variety of finishes, including White, Chrome and Gold. The finish is compliant with BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 5 and is also resistant to corrosion, thereby giving the handle a high level of durability and performance for its intended use.
All of the UPVC lever pad styles for handles are supplied with the spindle and screws that allow them to be put on a new or existing uPVC door. The 211mm backplate fixing centres allow for a wider handle, which is often a benefit when replacing a faulty or worn multi-point door lock mechanism. These handle levers have a spring, which solves the issue of
handles for doors that slide out of the horizontal position when not in use.
It is essential to match up the dimensions of the PZ for both the multipoint lock as well as the uPVC doors when choosing a replacement UPVC spindle and handle. This measurement is also referred to as 'handle centres or cylinder centres'. It is important for matching the correct handles.

Euro Cylinder
Cylinder locks are usually found on uPVC doors, but can also be used on other types of doors. Cylinder locks are operated by a key which unlocks the cylinder's case. This reveals pins that can be aligned with those inside the lock, allowing them to rotate the revolving camera, opening the door. Euro cylinders can be fitted with up to six pins with external and internal doors typically requiring different levels of security.
The selection of a cylinder is vital. It is based on the type of use your doors and handles receive. For example, external doors should be fitted with a higher security cylinder, while internal doors can be secured with an ordinary cylinder. Additionally, certain cylinders are available with extra features which can enhance security even more, like anti-drill or anti-bump properties.
To make sure that the euro cylinder is the correct size for your door, it should be measured correctly. The cylinder must be measured from the screw hole at the center to the ends of the cylinder. This includes the thumb turn, in the event that one is present. It is recommended to do this with the lock in place however when this isn't possible, you may remove it to take measurements. It is essential to not have a cylinder that extends beyond the handle or escutcheon. This can make it vulnerable to snapping lock attacks.
Most modern cylinders are constructed with bump and anti-drill features built into their design. They are designed to decrease attack chances by forcing the cylinders to rotate in a different direction. This can help to deflect attacks and ensure your door is secure.
There are also cylinders that are designed to withstand snapping. This is a growing method of attack on cylinders where the break line in the lock is smashed using a special tool to break the front of the cylinder and allow the door to be opened. This is a much faster and simpler method to gain access than the use of a multipoint locking system. It also leaves no evidence of the break-in which could hinder insurance claims.
Spring Cassette
The spring cassette is situated inside the base plate of the door handle. It provides a sprung solution to return the multipoint lock handles to their original position after use. There was a time when handles of this kind did not have a spring built into them and without this they can droop or 'drop' once the locking mechanism is disengaged. Adding this simple component is among the best methods to correct this issue and is an excellent way to stop your doors made of upvc from getting stuck in an open or closed position, as they aren't always simple to close manually.
These spring cassettes are specifically designed for use with multipoint locks sprung but they won't work with non-sprung multipoint handles. You must have a custom hole cut into your backplate to allow these to fit (please see image for technical diagram). These cassettes are a solution to broken or missing cassettes on the backplate of uPVC door handles. They are available as a single unit. They come with a square cut out that is able to accommodate an 8mm shaft.
