The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single to double stroller by the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be converted into a triple travel system by adding an infant bench seat or car seat. It has 24 configurations and is a top-ranked stroller overall. This model utilizes Baby Jogger's soft, breathable TENCEL fabrics, which aid in thermal regulation and are sourced sustainably. It has a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It folds 20% smaller than the leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2 and is also lighter.
It has a medium-sized sunshade and a handy magnetic peek-aboo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping handlebars are one of the easiest to adjust and works well for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and there's a footwell adjuster to help you place your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious however we wish it had an opening that is more secure. It's easy to access, but we found the zippers somewhat frustrating as they have to be completely undone and refastened every time you use it.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breakers that are simple to install and release by pulling a lever on the frame side, lower than the handlebar. It's comfortable for barefoot and sandals and a significant improvement over the toe-pinch lever that some of the other models use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that is able to accept two infant car seats which makes it a great option for twins or for parents with one kiddo and a baby due. It can fit the majority of infant car seats made by major brands using an adapter. We tested it using the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q as well as Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good option for families with a car seat and need an appropriate stroller, but you may be better off with another convertible stroller that fits an additional infant car seat in this case.
