Line-up
The album's third, Turn Back, marked the return to the traditional sextet arrangement of previous albums and was a more powerful, consistent effort that had an edge that was stronger than Hydra. Its edgier sound was a reflection of the maturation of the group, with drummer Bobby Kimball's increased ability on the drums and a more mature, confident vocal delivery by singer Joseph Williams.
