Most
3 wheel baby stroller wheel double buggies start life as single pushchairs, but some can be converted to take an additional seat or carrycot using adapters (these are typically more common in tandem buggies). Some models allow you to add an extra board for older children who are ready to walk, but require assistance.
For a lightweight option that's great for city streets, take a look at the Joie Evalite Duo. It's easy to move and has a large basket that is full of storage. It can accommodate twins from at birth and accepts two car seats, or a carrycot with seat. However, the seats have to be oriented forward and there's not enough space for a shopping bag underneath and you'll need a sidepack for this.
If you're looking to travel off-road and off-road, the Mountain Buggy Duet is a great option. It's a side by side model with the smallest footprint of any double buggy available. This allows it to fit through narrow doors and on public transport, and allows you to climb up and down kerbs with no trouble. It also has a handbrake on the adjustable handlebar to provide additional security and safety.
Another lightweight choice is the UPPAbaby Vista 2 Double, which can be used to accommodate twins or a baby and toddler. The seats can be reclining in multiple positions with UPF 50plus sunshades. Suspension
The quality of the suspension in a 3 wheel double buggy is essential to how it is easy for you and your baby/s to push. A smooth ride is crucial because babies feel every bump on the road, especially when it's on rough terrain like grass or unpaved paths. Some models also have locking front wheels to assist in maneuvering and navigating obstacles such as curbs.
Some models have tyres with air filled that are ideal for all-terrain riding, but they can be prone punctures. Make sure you have a spare set of tyres in the trunk. Some models have gel-filled or foam-filled tyres which are designed to absorb bumps. They can be less likely to puncture, however they could be uncomfortable for your child if they decide to jog.
The side-by-side is the most suitable buggy for city walks. It comes with a superb suspension system that allows you to easily and comfortably navigate any terrain. You can even upgrade the duet with our dual kit in order to carry two children all within the same footprint!
MFM reviewer Kath took the Urban Glide 2 through its trials with her newborn and 3 years old children, and discovered that it performed admirably on difficult terrains: "it navigated effortlessly over grass and bumpy pavements dirt tracks, cobbles and cobbles easily and was able to maneuver around corners and get up and down kerbs. The more wheels a buggy has, in general, the easier it is to maneuver on rough terrain. This is especially true if your wheels are larger than average size. You will have more stability and it will be less likely that you will need to tip over or flip your child.

It's a light-feeling option which makes it easy to push, and it comes with extra features, including raincover and a bumper bar.
Another alternative is the phil&teds sports, which is future proof since it's great as a single buggy from day one and then adapts to accommodate 2 (or even three!) All of this is contained in its compact footprint. It has a clever 3-wheel design and a sling seat for better maneuverability, stability, and the ability to pop the kerb.
This is one of the best double buggies for jogging with your children. It has a front wheel that can be locked, which can help you keep your balance on hilly or off-road terrain. It has a large undercarriage, a movable handlebar, and soft suspension for an enjoyable ride.
