The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single stroller to a double stroller with the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be set up into a triple travel system by adding a bench seat or infant car seat. It comes with 24 options in all and is the highest-rated stroller. This model is made with Baby Jogger’s soft, breathable and sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate temperature. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It folds 20 percent smaller than the leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is lighter, too.
It comes with a moderate-sized sunshade and a handy magnetic peek-a-boo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping handlebars are one of the simplest to adjust and works for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and there's a footwell adjuster button to assist you in positioning your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin has plenty of room, but we would have liked to have a more secure latch. It's easy to reach, but we found the zippers somewhat frustrating as they must be removed completely and reattached every time you use it.
The City Select, like its counterparts, has single-action brakes that are simple to set up and release by pulling a lever on the frame side lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and is a step up from the toe-pinch lever that a few of the other models use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that can accept two infant car seats which makes it a great option for twins or parents with one kiddo and a baby due. It is compatible with all major brands' infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it using the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is an excellent option for families who already have car seats, but want a stroller which can accommodate it. However, you might prefer a convertible stroller for this scenario.
