These are also great for jogging as they have built-in suspension and are able to climb up and down kerbs. However, they're a bit heavy to push.

The seats are not able to fully recline, but they can be adjusted to the lowest setting. This should allow your child to have plenty of space and headroom.
A fabric sling seat is also available. It is positioned snugly inside the frame instead of sitting on top as an open-back seat. This gives a lower centre of gravity and perfect weight distribution. This makes it easier and lighter to push especially when you're on bumpy terrain or curbs and MFM reviewer Kath really liked the way this kind of seat handled these challenges.

Storage
The 3-wheeled frame makes the buggy much more sturdy to push one-handed and also perfect for handling difficult terrain. The shopping basket is smaller than a 4-wheeler.
A good quality ATP will come with a great suspension, pneumatic tyres and padding for the handle for your comfort. It will be able to accommodate a carrycot or a car seat, meaning you can use it right from the time of birth.
MFM's reviewers have found that the 3-wheeler frame doesn't pass through all doors in their homes, or small car booties - make sure to check the dimensions of the buggy once it's folded before buying for those who are concerned about space.
Look for a 3-wheeler with 2 (or 3!) seats. seats when your family grows. They are the most efficient of both and will help you save money in the future. Tyres
Air filled tyres are designed to give your child an easier ride by cushioning out bumps and uneven surfaces. They're commonly found on pushchairs, such as the Phil and Ted's Sport which MFM reviewer Kath found to be "an outstanding ride for my toddler". She also said that the grippy tyres of the Phil and Ted's Sport made it simple for her to navigate the kerbs and other obstacles.
These tyres are sometimes difficult to maintain and require having their air pressure topped up regularly. They are also more vulnerable to punctures than foam tyres so it is essential that you have repair kits, spare inner tube and pump handy when out and about with your buggy.
PU tyres are more commonly found on pushchairs as they are less expensive than air-filled tyres, but they are equally robust. You can recognise PU tyres by their matte appearance and soft, smooth feel. They also slide well on even and tied surfaces.

Foam tyres are often used in high-performance buggies and joggers since they are able to cope with the rough terrain associated with this kind of pushchair. This can make your buggy less stable as the foam loses its springy quality. You'll also find that these types of tyres can often be noisy as they generate a lot of noise as you turn and make your way through the town.
