It's on the more expensive side of all-terrain running strollers, such as the BOBs. But it has many positive characteristics. The single-action brakes have an unsettling click and are easy to operate, even while holding your child in your arms. The hand-operated brake is useful, particularly when going uphill.
Another cool feature is the remote action swivel lock located on the handlebar. This allows you to quickly change from swivel mode to locked mode for running, without having to bend down and touch the front wheels, which may be dirty or get muddy. Once you're done, switch the lever to the swivel position.

Its sunshade scored better than most of the others we tested. It covers the knees, offering exceptional protection against harmful UV radiation. The padding on the leg rest extends to the plastic footrest to provide additional comfort. The Alterrain Pro has a sleek and modern design and feels more finished than other models made by the brand. The aluminum frame tubing is rigid and has minimal flex left-to right. The stitching around the handlebars, basket, and canopy are neat and tidy, with no bunched-up fasteners.
BOB Sport Utility
This stroller is available in either duallie or single versions for parents who are serious about their outdoor adventures. It is designed for off-road walking with knobby tires, high-impact polymer wheel that increases traction. The fixed front wheel offers stability while jogging and aids to navigate difficult terrain. Its state-of-the-art adjustable suspension tackles any bumps along the way. It also has an adjustable handlebar to fit parents of different heights and an extra storage basket to store all your gear.
BOB Sport Utility scored 6 out of 10, which is behind only the BOB Ironman which is our top-rated model. The suspension and large wheels make it more comfortable to run with and its air-filled tires and suspension system can better absorb the impact of rough surfaces than the smaller tires on competing joggers (including our other BOB strollers like the Revolution Flex and the Thule Urban Glide 2 which both scored 9).
In terms of maneuverability, the Sport Utility does very well but is not as easy to turn like some of the other models in this review. It is required to tip the handlebar to turn. This is a great option for flat surfaces, but can be difficult to maneuver in tight spaces, such as grocery stores or cafes.
The BOB Sport utility comes with the same safety features the majority of other joggers provide, including five-point belts, a foot brake and hand brake. The BOB Sport Utility can also accommodate most infant car seat adapters which are available separately. We found the brakes to be flexible and simple to use, but we didn't love that you must step on a lever near the front seat to secure the front
4 wheel all-terrain pushchair. This can be uncomfortable while walking or jogging.
Baby Trend Expedition
This stroller is a great option for families on a budget. It has all the safety features, such as five-point harnesses and a Tether straps, which will keep your kids safe during excursions. The handlebar has an extra-wide ergonomically shaped rubber grip and is foam padded for comfort. This makes it easier to navigate hills and rough terrain. It also has a large storage bin that can hold two or more drinks, which is handy for long trips.
The Expedition is a jogger with infant car seats which makes it a great option for parents with small ones. It can be connected to baby Trend or Graco infant seats to the adapter included. It also has an adjustable lockable swivel front wheel that can be unlocked for jogging, or locked for strolling. It also comes with a multi-position reclining seat as well as a large storage bin and footrest reflectors that enhance low-light visibility.
The Expedition isn't as effective in certain categories as our top-scoring models. It doesn't come with suspension that can help to absorb the force of bumps and uneven surfaces, which could be uncomfortable for young children. Its metal wheels don't last as long as the ones with larger tires, which is why it's not a good option for rough surfaces.
Additionally, the Expedition's canopy is rather small, so it's not as a great way to cover or protection from the sun. Despite these flaws however, the Baby Trend Expedition is an excellent option for parents on a budget seeking an all-terrain stroller. It also comes with a number of useful features, including the parent tray with cup holders, as well as a child's tray with two cup holders.

It comes with a fixed wheel that is easy to lock straight when running. You can also utilize the lever on the handlebar and let the front wheel spin for those who are just walking around or attempting to climb hills.
The suspension is excellent especially on bumpy and rocky bridleways. The brake on the handlebars wasn't as responsive to us as we would prefer, and the Nipper Sport V4 cannot be used with an infant car seat or carrier (although it can be used with an infant insert) and can only be used for occasional overnight sleeping.
The instructions are clear and we were able to put it together in just 10 minutes. You do have to fit the hood and seat liner yourself however, we found it wasn't difficult - it simply requires a bit of patience as you feed the harness straps through the openings in the seat liner. There's a small storage pouch located at the rear of the seat, but it's not big enough to accommodate the use of a changing bag.
The Out 'n' About Nipper Sport V4 is suitable for use from the moment of birth. However, it's advised that you wait until the baby is six months old before allowing it for running. The harness isn't tight enough to hold a newborn comfortably, so you'll require an additional carrycot.
