Seating
There are many alternatives for seating options in 3 wheelers. The carrycot that comes with it is ideal for a baby (which MFM reviewer Alice describes as a comfortable and cosy lay-flat bed that can be used both on and off the buggy). Older babies and toddlers will love the large and comfortable seat with adjustable ventilation. The seats do not recline fully, but they can be adjusted to the lowest setting. This should still allow your child plenty of headroom and space.
A sling seat made of fabric is also available. It has the advantage of being set snugly inside the frame instead of on top like a modular seat and this delivers a much lower centre of gravity and perfect weight distribution. This makes it much easier and lighter to push especially when you're on bumpy terrain or curbs and MFM reviewer Kath really liked the way that this style of seat negotiated these obstacles.
This kind of buggy comes with a large basket and other features that are useful such as an hood that can be extended with 50+ UV protection, a simple to use brake pedal and some unique visibility lights that can be positioned in front of occupants to ensure safety when riding on rough terrain.

MFM's reviewers discovered that the

Tyres
Air filled tyres are made to give your child a more comfortable ride by cushioning bumps and uneven surfaces. She also said that the grippy tyres make it easy to tackle kerbs and cobbles.
These tyres can sometimes prove difficult to maintain their inflation and need to be filled regularly. These tyres are more prone to punctures, and you should always have a repair kit and spare inner tube when you're out and out and about.
PU tyres can be seen on more pushchairs than air-filled tyres but they are still just as durable. You can recognise PU tires by their smooth appearance and soft texture. They also slide across smooth and tidy surfaces.
It's usually possible to tell the distinction between air-filled and PU tyres by running your hand over them, if it feels firm, then it's made of rubber, if it slides then it's a PU. You can also test if your buggy is fitted with PU tyres by sliding them onto an even, smooth surface. They should roll easily and fit snugly into the wheel hubs.
Foam tyres are commonly utilized in high-performance buggies and joggers since they are able to cope with the rough terrain that's common to this type of pushchair.
