The Band Toto Asia

Despite the turbulence, Toto forged ahead and released Isolation that was not as successful as IV. However, the band still had a successful chart-topping album in 1992, Kingdom of Desire. The album was the last of Toto's lineup and the debut of Simon Phillips, a new singer.

Line-up
The band's third album, Turn Back, marked the return to the traditional sextet format of previous albums. It was a more ferocious, consistent effort with an edge that was more pronounced than Hydra. The more edgy sound of the album was indicative of the maturation of group, with drummer Bobby Kimball's increased ability on the drums and a more confident, mature vocal delivery by singer Joseph Williams. After touring to promote the album, the band recorded a live concert in Amsterdam which was released as a two-CD set entitled Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records.
