Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Mulliner Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding unit, has created a unique keycase to mark the 100th anniversary of Bentley. Function
The Bentley Mulsanne Key comes with two buttons: one that opens the trunk, and the second which starts the vehicle. The key also has a switch for turning on the parking brake. The key is made of vegetable tanned leather. It takes over two days to create each one. The key is cut by hand, then shaped, sewed after which it is sealed and polished to give a superior result. It is strong small and compact, and it fits the

The guests are given a key case made by hand and containing the R.F.I.D. enabled key cards. Keys can also be outfitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps that illuminate the door's opening pathway with the owner's name or emblem when they arrive at the vehicle.
Bentley estimates that it takes 500 man-hours on average to construct and build a Mulsanne. The unwillingness to embrace modern technology is the key to this laborious task. The Crewe factory workers don't use a machine to space perfectly-matched leather seats. Instead they do it by hand. Drivers must park their cars manually, rather than relying on sensors built-in to direct them to perpendicular and parallel spaces.
