The Graco snugRide is an excellent option for families of all sizes. It provides a good mix of crash protection, features and functionality, including a front belt adjuster and adjustable base (in certain versions). It is also compatible with most strollers. However, it does have several issues. The primary issue is that the seat is more likely to tip when installed rear-facing with the seat belt, which may cause it to loosen over time and need to be tightened. This is not a safety concern, but it can be a nuisance for some parents. The second issue is that the crotch buckle's depth can be a little bit too deep for babies and could result in them slumping over.
The SnugRide from Graco is a fantastic choice for babies of all ages and can accommodate children up to 35 pounds or 2 years old, which is the maximum capacity of many
infant car seats. It scores excellent marks in crash tests, which is normal. It is lightweight and has easy-to-follow instructions. It also scores highly in our ratings for ease-of-use which includes how easy it is to install the harness, adjust it, and secure the harness.
The Graco SnugRide isn't as well in other categories, such as comfort and quality. The fabric is more pliable than other infant car seats, and the padding is thin overall. This is the only one that doesn't have an extra head restraint for smaller children. It is a shame, as it could reduce the risk of injury to some babies.

This seat is above average in terms of its ease of use. It comes with five-point harness that does not require rethreading and magnetic buckle holders built into the seat to ensure that straps are not in the way when buckled. The crotch strap is available in two height positions as well as 10 length options for the strap to ensure a secure fit, and the stability load leg in the base helps reduce movement during an accident. The seat comes with an area for storage to store straps, LATCH connectors, and other accessories. It also comes with an integrated rebound bar that helps minimize the chance of a crash causing rotation.
The Revv isn't the most heavy in its class, but it's still fairly heavy and a bit longer than most of the seats we tested, so it might not be the best choice for smaller vehicles or front-seat passengers. It doesn't have an indicator for the level which means you'll need to experiment to find the best position. It does come with a color-coded route and a belt-lock-off to help you avoid making mistakes. The push-style connectors that come with LATCH make it much easier to attach to the belt of your vehicle. It also has a great crash test score, and is GREENGUARD GOLD certified to help you breathe cleaner air.
