The iCandy Orange is one of the most sought-after double buggies on the market because of its exceptional comfort. It's an all-terrain pushchair with a soft suspension that makes light work of bumpy surfaces. It offers 30 different seating configurations, a built-in board for older children who prefer to walk, and a 'cinema mode that raises the back seats to provide better visibility.
Alternatively, the phil&teds dot is a fantastic single buggy that is available from day one that can then easily adapt to take 2 (or 3!) in various configurations. This is especially helpful for parents with children in a car seat, as the frame can be equipped with a wedgie for optimum lying flat, or car seat adapters for many brands.
Suspension
The quality of the suspension on a 3 wheel double buggy (
sneak a peek here) is vital to how easy it will be for you and your baby/s to push. A smooth ride is crucial since babies can feel every bump on the road, especially when it's in rough terrain such as grass or paths that aren't paved. Some models have front tires that lock to help maneuver and get over obstacles like curbs.
Some models use air-filled tyres that provide a fantastic all-terrain ride, but can be prone to punctures, so ensure you have spares in the trunk. Other models use gel or foam tyres that are designed to take the bumps and are less prone to punctures however, you may find them a little stiff and uncomfortable for your child's back should you decide to jog.

MFM reviewer Kath tried the Urban Glide 2 with her newborn and
3 wheel parent facing pushchair-year-old and found it extremely capable on terrain that is difficult to navigate. "It glided effortlessly over sidewalks and grass cobbles, dirt, and tracks.
