The VertuoLine makes use of more advanced techniques and specifications to provide more performance than the OriginalLine. They have a more diverse assortment of brew sizes that include 0.85 ounces of ristretto, 1.35 ounces of double espresso, 5.8 ounces of lungo and 14 ounces Alto XL. They also offer a speedier process known as centrifusion, which rotates the pods at 7,000 RPM to allow more water to pass through for better extraction.
VertuoLine as well as improving technology, has increased the number capsules that are reusable and introduced an environmentally friendly packaging system. They use an aluminium alloy that is 80% recycled for their capsules for coffee, and intend to increase the amount of recycled aluminium they use in future products.

Vertuoline machines come with a distinct pod system from the OriginalLine. The pods are marked with barcodes which the machines can scan to determine the size of the beverage (ristretto or cappuccino), and add the appropriate amount of water. This eliminates the need for a separate container of milk and makes it easier to make the perfect espresso or coffee.
In terms of quality in terms of quality, the Vertuoline machines produce crema that is more reminiscent of the thick foam you find at a traditional cafe rather than the light Crema found in the OriginalLine machines. However, the OriginalLine machines offer the best flavor because they generate 19 bars of pressure to better extract flavor from espresso grounds.
The more modern VertuoLine machine utilizes a technique called Centrifusion, which spins the capsules more quickly and equally than the Original Line machine. This increases the speed of water infusion and improves the quality of the beverage. It also permits the Vertuoline machines to use a lower temperature that reduces extraction time and increases the strength of the espresso.
3. Original
This entry-level Original machine is a great alternative for those who don't have lots of space or money to buy a larger machine. It has smaller tanks and capsule container but still manages 19 bars of pressure. This is more than enough to produce the espressos and coffees that the majority of people purchase Nespresso for.
It is minimalist with a black design, and the top-facing button is used to control all functions, from turning on to cleaning and making. This approach is common among Nespresso machines, and it makes them easy to understand and operate.
This model also comes with a jug that can be used to create drinks using foam. The machine comes with 11 different settings for milk temperature to customize the taste of your
Coffee machine pro, latte or lattes. It can also make both longer and shorter cappuccinos and latte.
The model is equipped with buttons that are labeled, making it easy to select beverages. The base of the holder for capsules includes raised squares that control the amount of pressure applied to each pod in order to create the size you want. This lets you regulate the amount of pressure applied to each pod, and also makes it easier to determine when the machine needs to descale. 4. Creatista
This is the machine for you should you be looking for an Nespresso that can make milk-based drinks and espresso. Breville (known in Europe as Sage) is the producer of this latest version of Nespresso Creatista. Sage, Heston Blumenthal’s company manufactures the machine, while Breville designed the thermocoil heating system.
The most exciting feature of the new Creatista is its
automatic coffee machine steam and the frothing system. Simply place your milk pitcher over the temperature sensor under the wand and the machine will do all the work for you. It comes with 11 settings, allowing you to customize the texture of your milk. If you prefer a more traditional approach, you can also choose to manually froth your milk.
Another feature that is great about the Creatista is its rapid heating up time - it can be brought ready to go up to temperature in only 3 seconds, which is faster than most other Nespresso machines. The design of the machine is sleek and stunning and has a brushed body made from stainless steel that looks great on any counter. The high-resolution screen makes it easy to navigate the machine for making food preparation, setting it up, and maintaining it. It's available in four colors: sea salt, black truffle, damson blue, and the stainless steel version. The Creatista measures 6.7 15 12 inches (WxDxH). It's the smallest Nespresso machine from the OriginalLine, and will fit perfectly on any counter.
5. CitiZ
This sleek espresso maker from Nespresso takes up less counter space than comparable models. It comes with a foldable tray that can hold larger mugs and glasses to prepare recipes. This is a fantastic feature for kitchens with smaller spaces, and makes it much easier to use the machine with taller recipes. The 19 bar extraction system makes it simple to create cafe-style recipes and the quick heating up is another benefit.
The CitiZ Basic doesn't include a milk frother. You can purchase one on its own or as part of the CitiZ&Milk Bundle. This option includes the Aeroccino steamer, which allows you to make creamy cappuccinos and lattes. This model can be used with reusable capsules however they are not included.
It comes with a large water tank that can hold 1 liter, and a container for used capsules that can hold up to eleven capsules. In contrast to the Pixie model, it doesn't automatically empty used capsules after the brewing process; you must raise and lower the holder to get the capsules out.
It's an easy-to-use machine, and its sleek design is easy to clean. The model also has the option of descaling, however there's no designated indicator or button, and the process isn't very intuitive. Nespresso suggests using its own descaling methods after 300 - 1200 cups, based on the hardness of your water. The drip tray, water tank and capsule container are all easily washable for ease of cleaning.
6. Gran Lattissima
Gran Lattissima espresso and milk machine is a premium, single-serve espresso machine. It is a stylish and modern design that features glossy and matte finishes as well as stainless steel accents and an LCD touch screen. It can prepare various coffee and milk recipes at the push of a button. These include Ristretto, Espresso, Lungo, Cappuccino Latte Macchiato, Cafe Latte, Flat White, Foamed milk and Hot Milk. It works with OriginalLine and third-party Nespresso Pods (doesn't work with VertuoLine, Starbucks by Nespresso or Starbucks by Nespresso).
The model differs from the older Lattissima Touch because it has nine drink presets and only two of them are milk-based drinks. It does not permit you to choose your preferred milk texture when creating recipes. However this is possible with the Lattissima Pro.
This model comes with a recyclable, washable milk container. You don't have to worry about buying fresh milk or purchasing an additional appliance for the machine. This container is easy to clean and can be filled with water and emptied into the sink in a matter of seconds.
Another wonderful feature of the Gran Lattissima is its energy-saving function and quick heat-up time. It comes with a huge 44 oz reservoir of water, and it takes only 25 seconds to heat up. The drip tray and froth container are easily removed for cleaning. It's also easy to keep your machine in good condition with regular descaling cycles and automatic cleaning cycles.
