Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
It is crucial to upgrade your items to maximize your gearing potential. It lets you add bonus stats onto the base value of your
item upgrader kit.
Each upgrade template comes with set options that can be set up via the GUI. These options include the upgrading reference and the possibility of upgrading.
Upgrade components
The system for upgrading weapons, armor and other gear in Cyberpunk 2077 was redesigned as part of the 2.0 update. Upgrade components are scattered across Night City. The item you wish to upgrade must also include an upgrade slot. If you select an item to upgrade the game will display an overview of what the expected stats will be following upgrading, along with the component or material needed. If you don't have the required level or resource to upgrade an item the button will read "Blocked."
Weapons and armor can be upgraded along with some trinkets as well as gathering tools. The upgrade slots on each of these can be filled with various upgrades that give you bonus points or other effects while the equipment is in use. These upgrades are available through crafting, purchased from a vendor, or taken as a reward.
There are two kinds of upgrade components such as universal upgrades and gems. Infusions can be placed in legendary and upgraded equipment. Enrichments can only be recovered by using a high-quality salvaging kit or upgrade extractor.
Recycled items
During the last two world wars, the scarcity of natural resources led the world to adopt recycling. It is now common to recycle items like paper, aluminum and plastic, giving them new life as something different. Recycling reduces energy consumption and helps prevent carbon dioxide from escaping into the atmosphere. It is also a great method to avoid landfills and save natural resources. However, it is crucial to know what materials can be recycled and what can't.
People often make the mistake of putting the wrong things in the recycling bin. These items not only harm recycling equipment, but also contaminate the stream. To avoid this, check the label and follow the guidelines for your recycling program. Cardboard should not be mixed with tin cans or steel cans. Tissue must also be thrown away. Glass is the only exception, since it can be used to construct with.
When shopping for new items it is important to look for the mark "Made with recycled content." The NPC will display the cost to
upgrade items the item. The cost of Technology Points will be included, if applicable. It will also display the cost of an Accelerator if you have one. Accelerators are available for purchase through the Exchange and can increase the amount of Tech Points gained by an upgrade by 50 percent. This bonus is not applicable to the item's chance of quality that resets when the item is at the mark level.

upgrade item NPC offers a service for transfer of gear. This allows players to save the experience and upgrade progress from the gear they own and transfer it to a new item that is in the same slot.
