self empty robot vacuum mop-emptying robotic vacuums we've tested. The dust bin inside is more durable than other models and the external bin is easy to open using the lever. The application and virtual assistant setup process took only about a minute and the robot was able to respond well to voice commands.
The j7+ is compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant and can be programmed to clean at different dates and times. We didn't find it to be as adept at recognizing our voice however the robot's microphone can pick up a lot of background noise, which could cause interference with its voice-activated features.
Its performance on bare floors is quite impressive. It can pick up 9.35 grams per run. It may seem like a lot, but it's sufficient to keep up with a manual vacuum cleaner that is an entire vacuum. It has a difficult time climbing high-pile carpet, and it may get caught in rug tassels, but overall it's among the top robot vacuums for floors that aren't clean.
The iRobot Genius feature is useful because it lets you create custom floor plans that the j7+ follows. You can schedule the plans to run automatically and set a timer to inform the robot when it is time to begin cleaning. It also has the ability to detect cliffs, floor tracks and cameras to ensure that it takes a methodical route around your home and doesn't slip off the steps.
The iRobot j7+ battery lasts around 86 minutes, which is typical for robotic vacuums. It can be controlled by an app specifically created for it, or popular virtual assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant.
Connecting the Jet Bot+ to your Wi-Fi network was easy with in-app instructions that guide you through the procedure. You can then make use of the SmartThings app to remotely plan cleaning sessions and keep track of the device's progress.
The app also comes with the ability to map you to see the areas that have been cleaned and the areas still needing attention. You can also set 'no-go zones' to stop the robot from entering certain rooms or areas which you would prefer to be avoided.
The Jet Bot+ is a machine with advanced features. It can detect obstacles and even recognize furniture dimensions, walls and other obstacles by using the front camera. The s9+ is equipped with an impressive set of features that make it stand above other robots. Its vSLAM utilizes cameras to map your home and remembers the layout up to 10 times. It also has the feature known as Perfect Edge, which is designed to ensure that dirt in corners gets picked up even when the robot isn't flush against walls or furniture.
In our tests, this robot had a powerful suction which easily removed pet hair and dust. It adjusts suction to match the type of floor it's working on, which is great for those who have a variety of surfaces in your house. This is a feature that we haven't seen before in any other self-emptying robotic vacuums. It could make a significant difference to how well your vacuum is cleaned.
Another interesting aspect of this model is its hygienic bin that iRobot has designed to prevent pollen, mold spores and other allergens from leaking back into the air. It has a clear door at the bottom, so you know when it's time to empty it, which is simpler than attempting to locate the tiny hole in the side of the bin.
Unlike earlier Roombas that had a dustbin mounted at the rear the s9+ has moved the dustbin to the top of the unit. This makes it easier to access and take away, and it also has more capacity than earlier models.

The Eufy 11s robot vacuum is an excellent option for those who are looking for a robovac which can do light cleaning on a daily basis and doesn't have many complicated features. It is also quiet and can run for up to 100 minutes. However it's not suitable for all floors, especially when you have carpeting with a high pile. It has an main roller brush (which is made up of a mix of bristles and rubber flanges) and two trispoked side brushes.
There are a number of different modes that you can select from when using the 11s, including Auto Single Room Spot, Single Room, and Edge. There's also a Manual mode where you can use the directional buttons on the remote to instruct it which direction to go -- back, forward, left, or right.
In general the 11s does an excellent job of collecting dust and large particles from hard floors, although it is unable to handle small particles like baking soda. It is also good at picking up pet hair.
It's also not as intelligent as other robot vacuums, and relies on bounce navigation technology rather than more sophisticated mapping software. This means it bounces across the floor until its battery runs out which isn't ideal for homes with lots of furniture or particularly dusty.
In terms of maintenance, the 11s' dirt compartment is simple to empty and has an open top. The filter should be cleaned each week and replaced about every six months. The 11s is backed by a one-year warranty and eufy is known for being responsive to problems.
If you're looking for an advanced robot vacuum capable of dealing with all kinds of floors, I would suggest taking a look at the Samsung Powerbot R7040. It is better suited for carpeting with low pile and bare floors, has a much larger dustbin, and costs less than the less expensive RoboVac 11.
