Amazon Cancels irobot Deals -

Amazon has pulled out of the planned acquisition of Roomba maker iRobot. The company stated that the deal faced "undue regulatory obstacles." Amazon will pay iRobot an amount for breakup of $94 million.
The decision was made after the European Commission, the EU's executive arm and top antitrust enforcer, said it had an "preliminary opinion" that the acquisition would affect competition.
