The frame on the Xplore feels solid and sturdy, although it does not have the same flex as some of the other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the competition and does not close tightly when folded. It is easy to move however, and it can be able to fit through narrow 28-inch doors.
3. Delta Children LX Side by Side
This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking a budget-friendly secondary travel stroller. It scored well in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions. This means it's lightweight and compact when folded and easy to lift and store in a trunk for your car. It also comes with an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as a cup holder for the parent. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.
It did better in our push and turn test than most of the strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to assemble with an average manual and all of the components required tools. It is missing some features that we consider essential for double strollers. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and leg rests that can be adjusted.
