It also comes with a variety of other options, like intelligent obstacle avoidance that uses cameras and processor-powered smarts in order to identify obstacles. It's rarely tripped up or stuck during a cleaning process. In my tests it was the

2. Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid
Eufy owned by Anker is now a household name in the world of budget robot vacuums. But it didn't offer the option of a model that could mop. The X8 Hybrid is a new model that comes with a variety of modern features and can compete with more expensive models.
Eufy's main selling point with this machine is its laser navigation. Previous Eufy devices have built up an approximate map of your home by using infrared sensors and bumping into objects but the X8's laser mapping system is more precise. It also takes a lot less time to build up an accurate picture of your living space and also stores multiple maps, which is ideal for homes with multiple floors.
The X8 is a great vacuum cleaner for floors that are clean. It is able to easily throw debris through the side brushes and into the 400ml dustbin. The X8's tyres, despite having a circular shape, are adept at grabbing edges and corners. It's not a fantastic cat litter scooper, however as our tests show it only removes about 90 percent of the fur off hard floors.
There's a mopping mode that utilizes the same water tank as the vacuuming one. This is great for spills that are not too serious, but you can't regulate the amount of water it uses. That said, it does an admirable job of picking up pet hair, with a better pickup rate than the Roborock S7.
3. Miele RX2
Awarded for its quiet and efficient home appliances Miele's RX2 robot vacuum is a great choice because of its cleaning power, stunning design and excellent navigation. However, it does have a few operational oddities that keep it from ranking as the top overall smart robot vacuum.
Like the latest models from iRobot like the RX2 features dual-sensor mapping technology which uses an LIDAR sensor to map out a room and three 3D scanning cameras to detect and avoid obstacles (like furniture legs or pet waste) in real time. Once mapped the app allows you to designate virtual no-go zones and preferred areas that the robot will automatically clean. You can also begin cleaning manually or change the cleaning mode, see live feeds from the cameras onboard and more from the main screen.
The RX2 is equipped with excellent sensors that detect furniture and other obstructions in a flash. The suction and sweeping capabilities are outstanding, effectively getting rid of surface litter from carpets of medium pile as well as embedded dust on floors. However, it's not exactly the most efficient robot available. Like many other robots it's not a very good climber and has trouble with things like thresholds made of steel transition strips.
Many people purchase robot vacuums due to the ease of setting up a schedule in an app, only to forget about them for weeks. Its composite score for flooring and carpet beat the competition, and it was able to pick up 98.5% of dirt and embedded dog hair that we tested in our lab samples.
The controls are simpler than those of the competition's. There is a cleaning button at the top and you can choose to start it by using the app or by voice commands using Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also set a schedule for weekly or daily cleans, set areas that are not allowed to be cleaned, and check its cleaning history. Ion is covered in a stylish dark gray plastic that feels and looks attractive in your home. The rear dust bin is easy to access for emptying and removing the filter is just as simple.
5. Eufy 11S
Eufy 11S is an excellent option if you're looking for a vacuum cleaner that is easy to use and has no frills at a reasonable price. It lacks some of the advanced features, such as digital mapping and Alexa integration, which are found in higher-end models however, if you don't require those functions you can save some money with this model.
This

In our tests, the 11S was extremely effective in removing dirt and pet hair from hard floors and low-pile carpets. Its slim profile allowed it to get under low-hanging furniture and other objects that bulkier robots could not reach. It was able to go easily over thresholds of doors and move from one floor type to another.
Like other robots, the 11S is able to take in some objects like cords, hoodie drawstrings, and cat toys. The manufacturer suggests that you can stop this by keeping such objects off the floor and by using a cord organizer if possible. It also recommends cleaning the dustbin on a regular basis replacing the filters, and washing or changing the brushes when needed.
6. IRobot Roomba 980
The Roomba is the flagship model of iRobot's robot vacuum. It's pricey however it's
top robot vacuum cleaner-performing and arguably the most advanced robot vacuum available. Its self-navigation as well as environmental mapping is a marvel to behold. Although the 980's battery lifespan and bin size aren't quite as good as those of other robot vacuums, it's a solid and reliable machine that will keep your floors spotless for hours at a time.
