The manual included is well-organized and clear but it's a good idea just to have one in the case.

The design is crafted with style, safety features and user-friendliness in mind, this jogger features parents' tray with 2 cup holders, a covered storage and a swing-away tray for the child that includes two cup holders. The adjustable canopy, with its peek-a-boo windows and a wide ergonomically-designed handle, provides comfort for both parents. The lockable front swivel wheel can be locked for jogging, and unlocked for strolling. The large storage basket is ideal to store the essential travel items.
Consumer Reports' Strollers test program shows that the Baby Trend Expedition Jogger is an excellent value for its price and scores higher than its competition across several categories. This includes ease of using the 5-point harness folding and unfolding, adjusting the backrest, engaging the brakes on the wheel, and removing the infant car seat and installation (only for compatible models). It is designed with an easy recline with one hand, which is deep enough to allow sleep. However the canopy cover, which ratchets, isn't easy to keep in place. It takes around 8 minutes to put it in place. The instructions are confusing, with several languages mixed up and confusing illustrations.
The only drawback to this stroller is that it doesn't come with suspension, so the ride could be more bumpy than the other strollers that we've tested. This could cause discomfort for young kids, especially when they're on close to having a nap. It does have air-filled tires but they don't have the same shock absorption as the rubber wheels found on strollers that are more expensive.

It also comes with an adjustable recline seat with a removable quilted seat liner, as well as a five-point safety harness and hinged bumper bar. It's also compatible with travel systems, so you can use it with a Cybex Maxi-Cosi and Be-Safe baby car seat.

Another issue with this model is the lack of a storage basket underneath the seat. It does have a small shopping pouch at the back of the seat, but it would not be large enough to accommodate an enormous changing bag. It is, however, extremely easy to open and close, with just two hands required to release the plastic catches on the opposite side of the lower frame. The red handlebar has a secondary lock that can be released using just one hand.
