A lever or lever door handle is a modern handle that can be installed on new or

The uPVC/Composite
door handles are made of sturdy materials and are suitable for multi-point lock doors that require a heavy duty design. The handles are inline, and use the same spindle and screws to fix them. They can be easily installed on any uPVC/Composite doors.
The handle can be placed and angled to accommodate the needs of all users. The handle has been tested for endurance up to 200,000 cycles, which helps to ensure the quality of the finish and the performance of the handle over time. The sprung lever can also be reduced to accommodate a wider range of locks. This is particularly useful for narrower doors where the cylinder is further back from the door. A shorter lever is an ideal choice for doors that have latches that can be activated by the thumb turn inside.
Lever Pad
A Lever Pad door handle made of upvc functions differently to the lever type handles on doors. These handles can work off one single spindle (inline) or independently from each side using two offset spindles or inline (pad). They are generally used on UPVC double-glazed doors and come in a variety of styles and styles.
The handles have been tested to a minimum of 200,000 cycles and are available in a variety of finishes like White and Silver, as well as Chrome & Gold. The finish is BS EN 1670 Grade 5 and is resistant to rust. This gives the handle a high performance and long-lasting durability for the purpose it was designed for.
All UPVC handle lever pads come with a spindle, screws, and can be fitted on a uPVC door. The 211mm backplate fixing centres permit a bigger handle, which can be beneficial when replacing a faulty or worn multi-point door lock mechanism. These levers for handles are also spring-loaded, thereby solving the issue of door handles sagging out of the horizontal position when they are not being used.
When selecting the replacement UPVC handle and spindle it is crucial to match the dimensions of the PZ of the multipoint lock as well as the uPVC door. This measurement can also be called 'handle centres' or cylinder centres'. It is important to match the correct handles.
Once you have decided on the correct PZ size, you will need to ensure that the lever and push pads are designed to fit the American with Disabilities Act compliant handles you require for your door. These are typically of a round or square shape with an internal lever and
external door handles push pad.
Most of the UPVC lever pads that we offer are sprung, which means that they will return to their horizontal position when not in use, rather than hanging out and potentially sticking in the frame. This stops draughts from entering the home. The majority of UPVC lever pad handles come in both left and right handed models which allows them to be placed on either side of doors.
Euro Cylinder
Cylinder locks are commonly found on uPVC doors, but they can be utilized on other types of door. They work with a key to unlock a cylinder that will reveal pins that can be aligned to those in the lock body and allowing them to turn a revolving cam, thus opening the door. Euro cylinders can be fitted with up to six pins. Internal and external doors require different levels of security.
Selecting the right cylinder for your needs is vitally important; this is dependent on how your doors and handle are utilized. For instance, doors that are external should be fitted with a higher security cylinder, while internal doors can be secured using a standard cylinder. Certain cylinders come with extra features that can improve security, such as anti-drill or anti bump properties.
To make sure that the euro cylinder is the right size for your door, it must be measured accurately. The cylinder should be measured from the hole in the center of the fixing screw to the other end of the cylinder and the thumb turn if you have one. If you are unable measure it using the lock in its position, you can take it out of it. A cylinder that is protruding beyond the handle and escutcheon could be susceptible to attacks like snapping locks, so it is important to make sure it's not too long.
The design of many modern cylinders comes with anti-drilling as well as bump resistance features. They are designed to decrease attacks by forcing cylinders to turn in a different direction. This helps stop the attack and ensure your doors are secure.
There are also cylinders that have been made to resist snapping. This is an increasingly common method of attack on cylinders where the break line inside the lock is targeted using a special tool to break off the front of the cylinder to allow the door to open. This is much quicker and less difficult than opening the door with a multipoint lock and leaves no evidence of a break-in which can impede an insurance claim.
Spring Cassette
This spring cassette sits within the base of your door handle's backplate, supplying a spring-loaded solution that returns your multipoint lock
old aluminium window handles to their rest position after use. The handles had no spring and would droop when the locking mechanism was disengaged. This component is the best way to solve this issue. It also prevents your door from getting stuck in the closed or open position, as they are difficult to close manually.
These spring cassettes were designed to be used with a sprung multipoint lock. They will not fit handles that are not sprung and you'll need to cut a hole into your backplate for them to fit. (Please see the image for a detailed diagram). They are a replacement for existing broken or missing cassettes in the backplates of door handles of various kinds of uPVC doors. They are available as a single unit. They have a square-cut out that can accommodate an 8mm shaft.
