How a Jaguar Smart Key Works
Jaguar smart key allows you to lock and unlock your vehicle from afar. Like all electronic devices, it's powered by a battery.
If your Smart Key battery is beginning to fail, your car may indicate this by a decrease in the effective range of its signals. The message center may also show the alert "SMART Key Battery Low".
Keyless Entry
With this feature, you can access your Jaguar without having to dig through your purse or pockets. The system uses proximity sensors to detect the Jaguar Smart Key fob, which will trigger your XE's automatic opening.
