Double Travel buggy (
isingna.lncorp.Kr)
A compact side-by-side that has an extremely small footprint (for use in public transport and narrow doorways). Add seats or a carrycot (with adaptors) to grow the frame for kids up to 50 lbs per seat.
Budget
smallest double buggy with back and front suspension for uneven surfaces. Large storage basket, padded handlebars, and large storage basket.
Size
nipper double buggy pushchairs are generally wider than single ones, particularly when they are side-by-side buggies like the Kolcraft Geo 3 or UPPAbaby. The good thing is that this extra width enables them to accommodate heavier children without straining the chassis. Other features that make them stand out: large pop-out canopies with SPF 50 protection, as well as peekaboo windows with swivel lock front wheels to help navigate tight spaces like shopping aisles and a cup holder for one parent and a clever fold mechanism that operates with one hand. The 10-inch wheels aren't built for rough terrain, but they are able to handle city streets and theme park rides well.
These side-by-side buggies are light and have surprisingly low price tags.
Weight
The lighter a
double stroller with bassinet-buggy is, the easier it is to move and lift. The Joie Evalite Duo is a good choice if you need to be aware of weight, as it's the lightest of our Lab tests, but it still has plenty of features, such as nice-sized pop-out canopies with SPF 50 and peekaboo windows and a quick-release fold that stows flat within seconds; four-wheel suspension that can take on rough terrain and a swivel front wheel that makes getting around tight aisles of supermarkets and shops effortless. With a price of just over P1,000 is a very affordable stroller. It can also carry twins or a baby and toddler with the purchase of an additional'sidepack'.
Flexibility
A well-designed
cheap double buggy buggy can provide a lot of flexibility, whether you have twins or two toddlers or a baby. Buggies that are narrow can be used to squeeze through small spaces. Side-by-side models let you to keep the track of your children and ensure their safety while you are navigating the park or shopping. Many have a variety of seating configurations, so you can modify the seat as your child grows. Some even allow you to add an automobile seat or ride-on board.
The Joie Evalite duo is a great illustration. It can fit two seats or a car seat and its adaptors that are easy to use let you change from a single to a double in a matter of seconds. It also comes with a large pop-out UPF 50+ canopy sunshade, adjustable leg rests and windows that peek out from both seats; an easy standing fold that is quick and easy to do with one hand; and a top-quality suspension that makes light work of rough terrain.
Tri-fold buggies, such as the iCandy Peach are another versatile option. Their slim frames are ideal to navigate narrow aisles and doors, while they are able to accommodate twins, a baby or an adult due to the addition of UPPAbaby's "PiggyBack board (which you buy separately). The basket is generous and comes with all the extras, such as liners and raincovers.
Tandem buggies typically have children sitting side-by-side. This makes them easier to push and more stable on uneven surfaces however they can be difficult to maneuver around kerbs. They have a larger footprint than a single seater and can be too big to pass through doorways.
Comfort
One of the most comfortable lightweight doubles we've tested, this buggy features seats that are elevated to the level of stadium seats so your children enjoy the view; nice-sized UPF 50+ canopies with peekaboo windows; padded toddler seat, as well as an add-on RumbleSeat, which has an adjustable leg and foot rests, as well as the cup holder that is single-parent. The seats recline independently by pressing a lever beneath each seat. The testers also appreciate the fact that the straps can be fastened or unfastened in one hand. It's also a doddle to fold, thanks to a twist mechanism on the handle, making it as easy as is possible, and stores with the backrest upright to make it easy to access.
With 30 different configurations (it'll accommodate twins, a baby and toddler or three kids if you add the option of a 'PiggyBack' board) This is a great choice for families who want to be able to grow with their child.
